Hey there!
It’s been a while since our last “From The Executives” update, but since an amazing event just happened recently, the executives thought that it’s about time to dedicate a special update to those who were involved in Clash Of The Talents! Please give your standing ovation to the following people:
- * Members of the Clash Of The Talents committee: Po Wei (Boris) Tsai, Adellea Greenbury, Lidya Sukandi, Kevin Alexander, Christhalia Wiloto.
- Congratulations! Thank you for being such a dynamic bunch, for dedicating your valuable time and effort into every single logistical aspects of this event, and for handling all the surprises that arise along the way. You’ve set the bar really high for future HS STUCO events, and that’s what the executives want to see. Take center stage, and be proud of what you’ve accomplished through Clash Of The Talents, because hey, you guys are awesome!
- * Helpers of the Clash Of The Talents committee: Min Hyung (James) Kim, Geun Myo Kim, Andrew Toto.
- * Members of the management team for their approval of this event: Mr. Paul Sebastian, Ms. Helen Stanton, Mr. Gavin Johnson, Mr. Phil Clark.
- * The administrators and technicians for their cooperation in lending us the Trini Dewi Theatre as a concert venue and for their technical assistance during rehearsals as well as the actual showcase.

- * Teacher supervisors for their time and support: Ms. Tricia Friedman, Ms. Helen Stanton, Mr. Phil Clark.
- * Everyone who auditioned, because there wouldn’t be a clash without any of your talents. All of you are extraordinary; please continue to pursue what you’re doing.
- * All of our contestants, for giving their best during rehearsals and the showcase. You guys successfully reminded our school community of just how much talent is contained within our school.
- * Our MCs for being a genuine embodiment of the phrase “the show must go on”: Reyhan Anwar, Christy Zakarias (thanking myself? Let’s pretend like that’s not weird at all).
- * Teddy Baby, Invisible Children and the Cancer Group for setting up the food, drinks and glow stick stands. It’s always heartwarming to see different projects collaborating to amplify the festivity of an event!
- * All members of the MSHS STUCO for their support in ticketing. Especially for the MS STUCO, who decided to support the HS STUCO even though they’re in the middle of planning for another event.
- Special shout-out goes to Hsiu Yang (Sean) Lin for his genius poster and ticket designs! What would we do without your creativity?
- * Everyone who spent their Friday night watching Clash Of The Talents. Everything the STUCOs do, they do it for you, so to see you turn up to appreciate our initiatives means a lot to us. Thank you for providing the STUCOs with the drive to strive even harder!
Just like how we archived documentation from the Winter Dance, photos from the event (props to our school photographer and HS’ Ho Jun Kong) will be uploaded onto this page. A Facebook and Twitter update will be released once everything’s uploaded, so hang tight. Anyway, here’s to better STUCO events in the future, because the best is yet to come! (:
